The National Australia Bank (NAB) Migrant Banking Team will be in Dublin 0n Thursday 8th October 2009 presenting a free seminar on “Moving to Australia”. Head of the Migrant Banking Team is Tony Loeckenhoff.
It will be an evening seminar held at the Raddison Hotel, Dublin City Centre (Golden Lane) from 7pm to 9pm.
The NAB has a dedicated service to help Migrants heading to Australia from Ireland. Their key focus is to make it simple for a migrant to establish their banking in Australia before they depart Ireland and at the same time make it personalised service.
The seminar will cover the following:-
- Australian economy – a Migrant’s overview
- Tax issues to consider
- Buying property in Australia on temporary or permanent visas (includes getting credit, FIRB and home owners grants)
- Moving your money & other possessions
- Opening a Bank account before you leave
