If you are a highly qualified professional or tradesperson living overseas who would like to find a job in the Australia then you should concentrate on 2 specific job market sources:-

1. Published Australian job market sources – Advertised
2. Unpublished Australian job market sources

There is a hidden market that includes jobs opportunities which are not advertised, which you may learn through word of mouth or by approaching companies.

More than 65% of jobs are not advertised so looking at both avenues is essential.  The Australian job market is competitive so you need to be thorough in your job search.

Australian Advertised Jobs
National newspaper :- http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au
State newspapers:-

Local and Regional newspapers:-

Australian Professional Bodies
Search for any industry bodies and their websites that are relevant to your occupation.

Australian Employment Websites
New jobs are published daily, and some sites offer a service of emailing your alerts based on your selected criteria. You can also include your CV in a database that can be searched by potential employers.
Many companies include job adverts on their own websites as well.

The following links are for key websites advertising jobs.www.seek.com.au
http://mycareer.com.au
www.careerone.com.au
http://www.jobsearch.com.au

When making contact with potential Australian employers you should also confirm whether they would be willing to sponsor you for an Australian work permit or subclass 457 Business Long stay visa so you can come to Australian and work in the job.

Alternatively, if you already hold a visa that gives you work rights, perhaps of the Australian skilled visa from the Australian skilled migration category than this would be a definite benefit to securing an Australian job offer.

Good luck with the job search.
