If you are over 55 and want to apply for the subclass 165 sponsored investor visa you would need to show that you are going to participate in a business or investment activity that is going to be of exceptional benefit to the state/country. Exceptional benefit means outside the scope of the general benefits of business/investment activity i.e creation of employment, exports etc. Perhaps involvement in an emerging technology or industry.
